Southern Screams – Charleston’s Premier Haunted House Attraction – Returns with MACABRE at Holy City Brewing
 

CHARLESTON, SC (July 7, 2026) — Southern Screams is back at Holy City Brewing for another season of fear with an all-new haunted attraction: MACABRE.

Beyond the polished plaques and velvet ropes of Museum Macabreo, something evil has taken root. For years, The Curator has gathered the rare, the cursed, and the forgotten — but his latest discovery has awakened something far darker. Now the museum hungers for more, and the final exhibit is still waiting to be filled.

Beginning Friday, September 25, Southern Screams will run select nights through Saturday, November 7, bringing guests face-to-face with immersive sets, chilling characters, and a terrifying new attraction and theme. This year’s experience includes General Admission tickets along with:

The elevated R.I.P. Access experience, featuring private lounge access, exclusive photo ops, discounts on merchandise, and expedited haunted house entry

Behind the Screams tours on select nights for fans who want a look behind the blood-soaked curtain, experience backstage areas, and chat with event creators

Lights Out! Nights on November 6 and November 7, where guests enter the attraction with only a lantern to guide them.

 

NEW this year -  Trick-or-Treat Night from 5:00pm – 6:00pm on Halloween night, where guests can experience the haunted house with the lights on in a more family-friendly fashion and get treats along the journey.
